This website was created by the Monhegan Energy Task Force (METF) as a source of information about the Maine Aqua Ventus I (MAV I) project, a 12 MW offshore wind project proposed approximately 2.5 miles off of Monhegan Island.
The community-based Monhegan Energy Task Force (METF) is aggregating questions about the project and MAV members and others are providing answers. The website is hosted by the Island Institute.
METF is currently considering how to broaden the ways in which it receives questions and comments from the general public. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to share your thoughts, comments and suggestions about the project and this website via the Contact Us page.
